Kate Cullis, or Martha as she was also known, married James Keets (1830-1911) at Richmond, soon after she arrived in Melbourne aboard the Ida in July 1853. She was born at Clifton, Bristol about 1835. At the turn of the century, the family also owned the Coffee Palace near the Yarra Glen railway station and Martha ran a boarding house.
